Retail247’s Immersive Product Day – June 2022

On the 16th June, we held an intimate event at London’s most immersive DC inspired restaurant: Park Row. We were delighted to be joined by retailers and technology partners from across the country, including Kitchen Craft, Chanel, AllSaints, Tom Dixon, Liberty London, Reiss, LK Bennett, Crew Clothing, Zebra Technologies, ViSenze, Proximity Insight and Compare Ethics.

We kicked off the day with delicious cocktails inspired by the Batman movies. What more could you want? Ellie Mitchell, Business Consultant at Retail247 then began the product sessions with an interactive Origin overview and demo.

Next, we were lucky enough to be joined by Zoe Donovan, Digital and Marketing Director at LK Bennett. She gave the audience an overview of LK Bennett’s much improved digital journey over the last three years, in part fuelled by Origin, Retail247’s PIM platform – a ‘lifesaver’, no less. Thanks Zoe!

Richard Surman, Head of IT at Crew Clothing also discussed the benefits the business has seen since integrating Origin.

For the final part of the Origin section of the day, Ross Gillanders, Head of EMEA at ViSenze joined us virtually. Ross discussed ViSenze’s virtual AI capabilities and how we embed this within our PIM platform, Origin.

Next up was the official launch of our stock platform, Quantum. John Best, Retail247’s Head of Innovation led a demo and Q&A for our audience. The demo led to thought-provoking conversation and sparked many ideas between the retailers and technology partners alike. It was absolutely fantastic to see the response to Quantum – there is no doubt that we have launched an innovative stock solution, one which is unique to the market.

Richard Surman then stepped back up to the figurative podium – it was time for him to tell the audience about what made Crew Clothing select Quantum as their stock management platform, and what the implementation process was like.

For the final part of our product event, we were joined by two or more of our technology partners. First up was Abbie Morris, CEO of Compare Ethics, who talked to the audience about ethical supply chain validation. We have recently implemented this within Origin, so that users are aware of exactly how ethical each of their products are.

Finally, Mark Jolley, Sales Director at Zebra discussed RFID technology and the huge impact it has on retailers.

Thanks for joining us for this quick round-up of our product day. If you’d like to learn more about Origin or Quantum please get in touch.
