We are committed to operating with a strong sense of responsibility towards Environmental, Social and Governance issues.

At Retail247 we are committed to operating with a strong sense of responsibility towards Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. We believe that conducting business in a sustainable and ethical manner is not only good for the planet and society, but also a critical component of long-term business success.

Environmental Responsibility

We strive to minimise our environmental footprint by adopting practices that reduce our energy consumption and waste generation. We also prioritise the use of sustainable materials and products in our operations and encourage our employees, partners and customers to adopt sustainable practices. Both of our cloud-based products are built upon AWS, who’s research shows that AWS can lower users’ workload carbon footprints by nearly 80% compared to surveyed enterprise data centres, and up to 96% once AWS is powered with 100% renewable energy – a target they’re on path to meet by 2025.

Social Responsibility

We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive and safe workplace culture that prioritises the well-being of our employees. We also actively support and engage with the communities where we operate by raising funds for charities including Age UK and DrugFAM.

Governance Responsibility

We uphold high standards of governance and ethical behaviour in all aspects of our operations, from financial management to data privacy and security. We also believe in transparency and accountability and regularly communicate with our stakeholders on our ESG performance. As an SME tech business, we understand that we have a responsibility to lead by example in our industry and be a force for positive change. We will continue to monitor and improve our ESG practices to ensure that we are making a meaningful impact on the world around us.
