Welcome back to the second instalment of our Countdown to RTS series. To recap last month’s update, we officially signed the contract to go ahead with a 24sqm stand at the Retail Technology Show in April 2024. As this is our first venture into the world of trade shows and exhibitions, we also asked our network, and Director of RTS Matt Bradley, for advice, which leads us nicely onto June’s update!
Following a referral from one of our contacts, we had a call with a great stand company based in London. We learnt that we have plenty of time to get prepped (phew!) as they have previously worked with clients with a lead time of just 6 weeks.
We’ve also been looking at renting vs buying a stand. At the moment, we’re leaning towards renting a stand. Not only is this a more cost-effective option, but it’s also more environmentally friendly – something which is at the forefront of our minds for RTS 2024.
Next week we are taking a tour around a showroom for exhibition stands, which will hopefully provide us with some inspiration, as well as a clearer view of what we can design within our budget.
