Retail247 extends a warm welcome to new starter, Rebecca Malia

Retail247 is incredibly pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Malia as Head of Business Development.

Starting her journey at her family’s business, Rebecca has lived and breathed retail for as long as she can remember. After spending some time in advertising, she naturally came back into Retail with her own card and gift store, which she ran for ten years. Rebecca has spent the last 20 years developing and designing new brands, technologies, and concepts; 12 years at DigiPos; and 8 at Box Technologies. Rebecca has worked with everything from PoS hardware platforms to mobile PoS applications and interactive digital signage for global high street and luxury retailers.

A networker extraordinaire, Rebecca is well established in retail circles. She is passionate about people and this shows through in her work, with her constant support to the teams she works with.

Rebecca said, “Having worked with an extensive range of retailers for over 20 years, understanding their challenges and technology requirements, I am delighted to join Retail247 to provide the latest technology solutions alongside highly skilled and experienced retail resource. I look forward to helping retailers implement necessary change, develop true stock accuracy and in turn support and service their customer’s needs.”

CEO Martin Schofield added, “I have known Bex for many years and have been sold to by her on many occasions which has always been a positive experience. I am excited that she is now joining the team at Retail247. She brings a depth of retail and technology understanding that can only enhance our ability to deliver.”

The company prides itself on having a team of retailers that understand technology, and technologists that understand retail. Rebecca will be a great addition to the team to help clients implement pragmatic solutions and innovation.
